On December 12, 2023, Prime Educational and Social Trust, in collaboration with the Keep Namma Pondy Clean project, organized a free eye screening camp for the sanitation workers of Ellai Pillaichavady in Puducherry. The event took place at the community park, providing a valuable opportunity for the workers to undergo thorough eye examinations. The dedicated eye care team not only conducted the initial screenings but also committed to follow-up procedures, ensuring that individuals identified with any eye defects receive maximum benefit from the camp. In total, 50 sanitation workers were able to avail themselves of the services provided during the camp. 10 December 2023 marks the 75th anniversary of one of the world's most groundbreaking global pledges: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). This landmark document enshrines the inalienable rights that everyone is entitled to as a human being - regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, language, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. As an observance of human rights day the children in the evening schools of Rainbow nagar, Muthialpet and Colas Nagar were taught and motivated to prepare posters related to human rights.
