Drawing time at Janani Home
Drawing plays a big role in our cognitive development. It can help us learn to write and think creatively, develop hand-eye co-ordination, conceptualize ideas, develop fine motor skills - fine motor skills include any specialized movement of the hands, wrists and fingers, encourages visual analysis, helps establish concentration, increases individual confidence, teaches creative problem solving. The girls in Janani home spend some time each weekend in drawing and coloring pictures. They enjoy their drawing time.
