The children were taught to make butterfly, heart, frock etc with color paper. Visit to the Head post office by the children in Janani Home On 27.05.2023 an educational trip to the head post office, Puducherry was organized for the children in Janani Home. The visit to the post office gave students a better understanding of the role and responsibilities of the post master and post man. The postman explained to the students how letters are collected and delivered to their destinations. The students were excited to see letters being stamped and sorted. The field trip was an enjoyable and informative experience for the children. Visit to the Puducherry railway station by the Janani Home children On 26.05.2023 the children in Janani Home were taken to the Puducherry railway station for an exposure visit. The purpose of the visit was to acquaint the students with the transport facility used by most of the people in our country. It helped the children to get hands-on experience to observe how people travel. The children observed the ticket counter, the train name and timings on the information board, the indicators displaying the time and name of the trains and waiting rooms available on the platform for the passengers. For some children it was their first experience of visiting the railway station. The visit was informative. English and Mathematics sessions in Janani Home during Sundays

Maths and English are foundational skills for young learners. It is important to educate children well, by giving them the necessary skills of Maths and English, which helps them to build confidence, improve their social and communications skills, and understand the world around them. These two invaluable skills contribute to a child’s success, as they transition from childhood to adulthood. Rajasimha Perumal of class 12 and his sister Kavineha Perumal of class 10 are volunteering to teach English (to read and speak) and basic math including Algebra during the Sundays for the children in Janani Home. They wish to incorporate spoken English through games and board games for the young girls in the forthcoming Sundays. The children enjoy the sessions and are eager to learn. Blue Color day celebration - Sishubhavan play school children The pre-primary days of children are the phase when their cognitive and motor skills take shape. Developmental and interactive abilities of the children also get noticed during this age. Hence, it is very crucial for the parents at home and teachers in the school to actively engage kids in activities which boost their cognitive abilities. A lot of activities can be done in this regard and the celebration of Colors Day is one of them which are vital to be introduced in the school. On 23.05.2023 the children in Sishubhavan celebrated colors day at the Prime Trust office, Rainbow Nagar. The children were dressed up in blue color dresses. The program began with the play school teacher Mrs. Bhavani welcoming the parents, children and staff. The children recited alphabets, poems, months of the year etc. They also performed a dance. The teacher gave the children gifts to encourage them. The program ended with the vote of thanks by Mrs. Nathali Raja, Secretary, Prime Trust. Laughing therapy, physical exercises, breathing techniques, activities to build team spirit, Personal Hygiene and Cleanliness and Dance programs for the Entertainment of the inmates are the various sessions. Final day of Summer Camp

The final session of summer camp for the evening school children was held on 13.05. 2023 in Sishu Bhavan, Muthialpet. The intern recalled all the lessons and the importance of learning the lessons.
