Health education for the girls in Janani Home
On 26.07.2023 the girls in Janani home were oriented regarding health education.
Hygiene Education: This involved teaching about personal hygiene habits including washing hands correctly, showering regularly, and oral hygiene practices like brushing and flossing, and menstrual hygiene management.
Nutrition Education: The girls learnt about the importance of a balanced diet, the role of different food groups, understanding nutritional labels, and the importance of hydration.
Physical Activity Education: This involved educating them about the importance of regular physical exercise and its benefits, showing them safe exercises they can do, and encouraging them to stay active. The session was informative for the children.
