Speech about the history of India’s Independence - 15.08.2023

Speech about the history of India’s Independence India's quest for independence began in the late 19th century with the formation of the Indian National Congress (INC) in 1885. Over the years, India saw a diverse range of leaders and movements advocating for freedom from British colonial rule. Mahatma Gandhi became the face of this struggle, employing non-violent civil disobedience methods like the Salt March in 1930. The Quit India Movement in 1942 called for the British to leave India. Alongside the INC, the All India Muslim League, led by Muhammad Ali Jinnah, advocated for a separate nation for Muslims, which eventually led to the partition of India in 1947. After enduring over two centuries of British rule, India finally gained its independence on August 15, 1947, but not without paying the heavy price of partition, which resulted in the creation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The joy of freedom was thus tinged with the sorrow of division and the resulting communal violence. One of the girls in Janani Home gave a speech on the history of India’s Independence for the Independence Day program on 15.08.2023 at Janani Home, Colas Nagar. #Primetrust,#Indiavolunteercare,#indiavolunteercaretoursandtravels, #Akshayaselfhelpgroupsconfederation,#Aadharaprojectforhomeless, #Akshayatailoringcentre,#Sishubhavanplayschool,#Primetrustremedialschools, #Jananihomeforgirls,#Primetrustruralhealthmission,#Primetrustchildsponsorshipprogram, #Primetrustruralwaterandsanitationproject, #Primetrustchildrensparliament, #Puducherry,#Volunteers, #VolunteeringinPuducherry, #CovidPandemic,#Awarenessgeneration
