Ottankaduvetti is a small Village/hamlet in Kanai Block in Villupuram District of Tamil Nadu State, India. It comes under Mambazhapattu Panchayath. It is located 13 KM towards west from District head quarters Viluppuram. 172 KM from State capital Chennai
Free medical camps provide access to healthcare services for people who may not have regular access to medical facilities due to geographical, financial, or other barriers. This can be especially crucial in rural or underserved areas like Ottankaduvetti village. Medical camps often include screenings and check-ups that can help in the early detection of various health conditions, including chronic diseases. Early detection can lead to timely intervention and prevention of more serious health issues. These camps often include health education sessions, where people can learn about preventive measures, hygiene, nutrition, and other health-related topics. This education can empower individuals to take better care of their health.
On 26.10.2023 Prime Trust along with the medical team from Sri Venkateswara Medical College Hospital and Research Centre Pondicherry conducted a free general medical camp for the people in Ottankaduvetti village of Villupuram District. About 100 individuals including children were benefitted from the camp. About 15 individuals from the village were taken for further treatment by the medical team to their hospital on 27.10.2023. The follow up will be done by the medical team.
